WORM DRIVE CLAMP OF ZEMLYAKOV NV DESIGN FOR STRAINING OF HOSES Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC F16L33/00

Abstract RU 2406009 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: worm drive clamp for straining of hoses is made of metal straining strap, at one end of which the case is rigidly fixed, where worm screw is installed along the strap, and one end of screw has driving hexahedral head, at the end of which a flat transverse splint is installed. Strap at the side of screw has transverse grooves of slot-like shape, where turns of driving worm screw are laid. Driving head at the side of side surface is equipped with transverse through hole, passing through screw axis, where detachable element is movably installed in the form of ring or rod. Invention makes it possible to provide for straining of hose, without application of special tool, such as wrenches or screwdrivers.

EFFECT: possibility to rotate screw with the help of detachable element facilitates working with clamp under any field conditions.
