SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for safe presentation of content in a mobile station. The mobile station can have an intelligent module, a security agent and a radio interface for communication with a content supplier and a remote content rights manager. The intelligent module stores units for presenting content and has an authorised content rights manager for cases when the mobile station cannot receive a key for protected content from the remote content rights manager using the radio interface. In the method, units for presenting content are sent from the remote rights manager to the intelligent module for storage. The protected content key is requested from the intelligent module to enable presentation of content requested when the mobile station cannot communicate with the remote rights manager. The protected content key is sent, based on the stored unit for presenting content, from the authorised rights manager to the content security agent for presentation fo the content.
EFFECT: reproduction of stored protected content configured by a mobile station, even when the mobile station is outside the service area.
