FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, balneotherapy. The method includes administration of low-mineralised drinking hydrocarbonate-sodium-calcium subacid carbon-arsenous boric mineral water starting with the 1st day of the adaptation period. Water is administered daily for 21 days, 150 ml 3 times a day. The administration is applied 40 minutes before meals, at water temperature 15-18°C. Starting with the fifth day of treatment, general hydrosulphuric baths are taken. In the patients with functional class (FC) I exertional angina, the bath hydrogen sulphide concentration is 50-100-150 mg/l. In the patients with functional class (FC) II exertional angina, the hydrogen sulphide concentration is 50-100 mg/l. The baths are taken every second day. The bath duration is 6-8-10-12-15 minutes. Starting with the fourth day, an underwater massaging shower is applied every second day in those days free from the hydrosulphuric baths. The therapeutic course includes 8 hydro- and 8 balneoprocedures.

EFFECT: method improves adaptative recourses of the body and physical efficiency, modifies arterial hypertension and vegetative dysfunctions, improves lipid metabolism, lipid peroxidation, antioxidant and coagulation systems, stabilises clinical course and reduces the risk of complications.
