FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of unloading drum mills. Proposed method consists in that material is discharged via unloading grate made up of sectors with wear resistant slotted inserts that rigidly cover the carcass with reiforcements. Carcass reinforcements are made up of chord and radial ribs and bars arranged in different planes and displaced inside mill drum with respect to adjacent ribs and bars. Crushed material is fed during elastic displacement of wear resistant inserts in slotted zone under action of forced particles and pressure of rocky mass. Elastomer makes the insert material.
EFFECT: longer life and higher efficiency.
