FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: guidance method involves periodic generation of electrical control signal the duration of which corresponds to angular deviation of longitudinal axis of missile after start-up, and conversion of the above signal to deviation of control member. Light flux is formed, which rotates together with the missile and periodically passes through reflecting surfaces rigidly connected to measurement position element of longitudinal missile axis. At that, duration of light flux penetration to reflecting surfaces corresponds to angular deviation of longitudinal missile axis after start-up. Reflected light flux is received and converted to electrical signal, durations of pulses of reflected light flux are measured, and in compliance with those durations the electrical control signal is generated.
EFFECT: improving shooting accuracy of guided missiles rotating along the centre mark angle.
