SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to production of materials containing nano silver, and related home and medical devices, and particularly to an antibacterial material and a method for making thereof, including for preparing dosage forms for treating the patients with a wide spectrum of diseases of various etiology, used for treating the patients with burn injures, herpes, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne, mycotic lesions, etc. Also, the invention presents the method for making an antibacterial composite that involves sample pre-testing for surface behaviour and further recovery of silver on the powder carrier surface from a water or aqueous-alcoholic silver nitrate of silver concentration 0.1-3.0 wt %, with tannin of concentration 0.05-2.0 wt % at room temperature.

EFFECT: invention allows to extend the range of materials due to the use of the antibacterial composite containing silver localised on the powder carrier surface having the behaviour of the silver layer thickness not less than 5 nm.
