FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stone crushers with multiple crushing rolls arranged in line. Stone crusher comprises a line of parallel crushing rolls with crushing teeth extending radially. Said line comprises at least four crushing rolls spaced so that there are two inner adjacent rolls fitted between two outer crushing rolls. Inner pair of crushing rolls defines the are of mineral deposit there between to cover material feed. Said rolls run in opposite directions so that crushing teeth act on mineral deposited in said area that allows mixing of said mineral to support passage of small-size mineral when larger-size mineral passes there between. Each crushing roll of aforesaid inner pair acts on larger-size mineral in material flow to make the latter move in outer direction toward one of outer crushing rolls. First pair of crushing rolls is arranged to revolve in first roll case that defines first crusher assembly, while second pair of crushing rolls is mounted to run in second roll case that defines the limits of second crushing assembly. Said first and second crushing assemblies are located in parallel.
