FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on reduction of impact of flutter oscillations. Shell oscillation damping in action section of the trajectory is performed with the complex of devices: reduction (damping) device of twisting and bending oscillations of JVFS shell, synchronising device of rotation of head and tail parts of JVFS shell and balancing device of centre of gravity of JVFS shell.
EFFECT: reducing the probability of reduction of JVFS shells in flight, and improving shooting accuracy.
