SUBSTANCE: table with a cable channel is characterised by the fact that bearings are provided lying on the support device with displacement in the longitudinal direction of the cable channel towards each other, on which the retention strap is set with the ability of rotation around a pivot between the hanging down position for laying of cables and the holding position running parallel the cable channel. In the working position the cable channel is raised so that the swivel axis lies under the cable channel. The support is formed with a shift relative to the rotary axis on the retention straps. The cable channel in the bent down position for laying of cables in lying below the elevated working position of the surface is adjacent, directly or indirectly to the support.
EFFECT: easy access to the cable channel for easy and simple cabling.
