FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: shaft of the fan is installed on front radial roller bearing and on rear radial thrust ball bearing which is arranged on T-shaped outer flange and fixed in axial direction with the retaining nut of inner race of roller bearing, which is installed on the side of low pressure turbine. T-shaped flange is made as an integral part of fan shaft, and consists of horizontal and radial parts. Radial part of the flange is arranged under symmetry axis of rolling elements of ball bearing. On inner side of horizontal part of the flange, under the last turns of threads of the nut there made is annular rib directed towards the axis of gas-turbine engine and forming together with radial part of the flange the cavity for uniform distribution of oil which is supplied from oil spray nozzle in circumferential direction.
EFFECT: improving reliability and decreasing the weight of gas turbine engine by increasing carrying capacity of ball radial thrust bearing and excluding failure of fan shaft in case the above ball bearing fails.
