FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerator comprises body, door, door opening mechanism and limiting device. Body forms storage compartment, opening in its front part. Door is arranged at front section of body and is installed by means of hinge with the possibility of rotation on axis, to open or close front part of storage compartment. Door opening mechanism provides for force application to door in forward direction by control signal. Limiting device provides for door rotation in forward direction and limitation of its rotation in opposite direction, i.e. in direction of door closing at fully open position or in position between fully open position and fully closed door position. Force applied to door for its opening is more than force applied to door for its closing.

EFFECT: possibility to stop turn of refrigerator door in arbitrary position, door may open automatically, and convenience of use improves, preventing automatic closure of door in process of loading and unloading of food products and other objects.
