FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: arbor comprises shaft with aligned tapered and cylindrical sections. Collet has outer cylindrical base surface and inner coaxial conical and cylindrical surfaces and is cut along equal-length slots that terminate in holes, while shaft tapered section and collet inner tapered surface stay in contact. Collet body has hole to receive shaft cylindrical section and outer tapered surface aligned with said shaft section, and elements for attachment to machine spindle. Shaft is furnished with elements to coupling with mechanised drive; collet slots made on its one end are located on the same generating lines whereon slots made on the collet opposite face are located. Note here that collet inner cylindrical surface features annular bulges, two nearby collet end face and one at the collet centre. There are tapered surfaces nearby collet end faces for coupling with body tapered surface. Cylindrical bore is made on annular bulge arranged at collet centre. Note here that taper angles of said surfaces are not self-braking, while maximum diametres of said surfaces are located at intersection with collet end faces.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher accuracy of machining.
