FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: universal masonry ruler consists of vertical and horizontal shelves joined by means of screws at the right angle displaced relative to each other and having working planes ("А", "Б", "В", "Г", "Д", "Е" and "Ж"), besides, horizontal shelf at end surface has a slot, where inserts-jointers may be located with working planes "А", "Б" and "В" of various shape, forming various pattern of brickwork joint, besides, horizontal shelf has metric rulers by two planes "Д" and "Е", besides, vertical shelf has holes with diametre of 50 mm, in which liquid levels of horizontal and vertical types are installed and fixed, making it possible with the help of planes "Ж" and "АГ" to level laid brick in all planes.

EFFECT: improved quality, appearance, density and evenness of joints in brickwork, reduced monotony and labour intensiveness, reduced consumption of mortar in brickwork.
