FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: power plant for aircraft includes jet turbine engine, attachment pylon to attach the jet turbine engine to aircraft wing, and heat exchanger. Heat exchanger includes thermal exchange housing fixed on upper surface of that attachment pylon, in which hot air and cooling air flows. Power plant also includes hot air supply pipeline located on rear surface of heat exchanger housing to supply hot air flow to that housing, and cooling air discharge pipeline located on rear surface of heat exchanger housing to discharge cooling air flow outside the above thermal exchange housing. Hot air supply pipeline passes through attachment pylon so that hot air flow can be supplied from jet turbine engine to rear part of heat exchanger housing. Hot air supply pipeline and cold air discharge pipeline is concentric throughout their passage through pylon, and hot air flow moves in the above housing from its rear part to its front part, and then from its front part to its rear part so that it can be discharged through rear surface of the above housing.
EFFECT: invention allows decreasing overall dimensions of heat exchanger and improving its efficiency, and increasing thrust of power plant.
