FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to zootechny, veterinary science and processing of agricultural produce and may be used in production of fodders. Fodder additive for broiler chickens contains culture Bifidobacterium bifidum in the form of preparation "Bifidumbacterin dry lyophilizate" and powder-like leaf and stem mass of stevia. Additive is added into the main fodder in amount of 1%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to normalise microbiocoenosis, to activate fermentative activity of gastrointestinal tract, to improve carbohydrate exchange, to increase digestibility of fodders, to increase gain of live mass and to improve safety of poultry.
