FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: system of oil protection in downhole motor consists of chamber filled with oil and of one or more rotating shafts with packing including case and rings with packing ends. One of rings is fixed in the case, while another one rotates together with the shaft. Packing is equipped with two or more radial bearings whereon there are mounted the rotating rings with packing ends. The shafts are equipped with end lugs, while the rotating rings are equipped with end lugs engaging the radial lugs of the shafts.
EFFECT: increased reliability and durability of known systems of oil protection with end packing of rotating shafts of downhole motors; improved conditions of lubrication of sealed mechanisms; increased service life of downhole motors.
