FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: automatic small arms comprise barrel, receiver, locking frame, cartridge belt feed mechanism and return mechanism. Locking frame is arranged in the form of two parts with the possibility of longitudinal sliding in receiver. Lock is arranged on one part of locking frame, and other part of locking frame has a figured slot. Figured slot serves to drive mechanism of cartridge belt feed. Return mechanism is arranged in the form of two springs arranged in half-holes of locking frame parts.
EFFECT: improved resource of weapon operation and simplification of its design.
