FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: flexible clutch consists of two coaxially arranged half-clutches with flanges and of spacer with response flanges installed between them. Intermediate rings, covers and packages of flexible elements are attached to the flanges of the half-clutches by means of fixture elements. The intermediate rings and covers are fixed through orifices arranged along circle of bigger diametre, while the packages are fixed to the flanges of the spacer by means of fixture elements passing through the orifices along the circle of less diametre. The flanges of the half-clutches have circular lugs each engaging internal surface of an adjacent intermediate ring. A circular band out of non-sparkling material is secured in each cover. The bands and flanges of the spacer are installed with a circular gap. External diametre of the spacer flanges is less, than external diametre of the flanges of the half-clutches.

EFFECT: clutch operating under explosion hazardous and heavy duty conditions; improved weight-dimension characteristics of clutch.
