FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and is applied for gastroplasty. The gastric ring with non-stretchable part contains two ends and intermediate part with solid section. The first end is provided with an opening into which the second end can be inserted. The ring contains projections for fixation of said second end in said opening in, at least, two different positions. The ring contains means of the second end of fixation in said opening in each of said positions. Means of fixation contains, at least, one opening, made in one of said ends and, at least, two second openings, made in the other end. One of said second openings is located on the same line with said first opening in each of said positions and said openings thus form the canal for passing the element, holding said ends with respect to each other.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to vary internal diametre of gastric ring in position of application.
