SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and ceramic mixtures which can be used in making household ceramic articles and utensils. The ceramic mixture contains kaolin, clay, scrap ceramic, feldspar, phosphogypsum, liquid potassium glass and mullite, with the following ratio of components in wt %: kaolin 69.2-75.2; clay 9.0-11.0; scrap ceramic 0.5-1.0; feldspar 9.0-11.0; phosphogypsum 1.5-2.0; liquid potassium glass 0.1-0.3; mullite 4.0-6.0.

EFFECT: higher strength of articles.
