METHOD TO ADAPT STURGEONS TO STIMULATED UPKEEP CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A01K61/00

Abstract RU 2417586 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes changing fish over to artificial fodders, fish adaptation. Fish is adapted to stimulated upkeep conditions and combined fodders in 4 stages. At the first stage they start feeding fish with minced fish at the third day after fish transportation and placement into ponds. Fish is given food 4 times during daylight in areas of highest fish accumulation. The daily norm of fish feeding at the first stage makes 0.5-1% of the fish body weight. At the second stage, at the fourth day after the feeding started, half of the minced fish is replaced with the moist mixed fodder. Then the minced fish and the mixed fodder are alternated, at the same time the daily norm of fish feeding at the second stage makes 1-2% of the fish body weight. At the third stage the fish ration consists of 1/3 of minced fish and 2/3 of moist mixed fodder with the feeding norm of 1-2 % of the fish body weight. At the beginning of the third stage the frequency of fish feeding makes 4 times per day At the end of the third stage the frequency of fish feeding makes 3 times per day Minced fish is given once a day At the fourth stage, after fish gets used to the new feeding regime, minced fish is completely taken out of the ration, besides, the daily norm of rearing sterlet group feeding makes 3% of the fish body weight

EFFECT: technology makes it possible to reduce time of fish adaptation to natural conditions, to increase survivability rate of producers and immature sterlet specimens.
