FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: ceiling tile is designed to be installed in a frame, which has guides with T-shaped profile with a wall facing upwards. The tile comprises a core and edge support clamps. The core is made of fibrous material with a peripheral "rim" and a stepped groove along the core edges. Clamps are designed to connect to the suspended frame system. Each clamp has a wall and protruding elements. The wall has a protruding edge for entrance into one of stepped grooves along the core edges. Protruding elements continue from the wall and are designed for entrance into the core. Also a method is disclosed for assembly of a rectangular ceiling tile and edge support clamps.
EFFECT: simplified design and assembly of the suspended frame system.
