SUBSTANCE: package comprises the first barrier layer of a material and the second barrier layer of a material, tightly arranged on the first one to form the specified package and a hydrating medium arranged in the package for a contact lens. At the same time the inner depth of the produced package is less than the total natural sagittal depth of a contact lens, when the specified contact lens is in its balanced form. Besides, the contact lens is arranged between the first barrier layer of the material and the second barrier layer of the material in the hydrating medium. At the same time the contact lens package provides retention of the specified lens in a flattened or compressed condition. Also a version of a package is proposed, which comprises a springy disk, on which a contact lens is arranged.

EFFECT: design of the proposed package versions ensures durable storage of a contact lens and convenience of a lens withdrawal from the package.
