FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: steel sheet is used for fabrication of bent pipe out of base metal of high strength and impact resistance and with metal of weld seam of high resilience. The sheet is fabricated by cooling upon hot rolling at rate of cooling in the central part in the direction of sheet thickness maximum 5°C/s at 700-500°C; the sheet is formed as a primary pipe. The primary pipe is heated to 900-1100°C and bent. Further, it is cooled to temperature maximum 300°C with rate of cooling in the central part in the direction of thickness minimum 5°C per second at 700-500°C upon which it is tempered at 300-500°C.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability.
