FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: bit includes housing with arc-shaped slots on its side surface and slots dividing the housing edge into sectors reinforced with cutting elements installed under arc-shaped slots. Cutting edge of cutting elements has convex shape in plan view; at that, its core-forming part is inclined towards the side which is opposite to the direction of bit rotation. At that, cutting elements are provided with side groove formed on the side of their hole-forming part and combined with arc-shaped slot of the housing; at that, height of cutting elements does not exceed the height of slots.
EFFECT: higher operating efficiency of drilling bit and thus higher technical and economic parametres of its operation.
