FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish breeding and may be used to artificially reproduce valuable species of fish and to create brood stocks. The method to increase resistance of roe to diseases and includes treatment of roe with iodine-containing preparations. Roe treatment is carried out with a preparation "Monklavit-1" at "eye" stage and possibly additionally when laying roe for incubation. Treatment is carried out when dosing "Monklavit-1" in amounts of 100-300 ml/10 l and time delay from 10 to 20 minutes at each stage in this solution.
EFFECT: prevention of saprolegniosis infections, increased integrity and survival rate of fish roe.
