FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for insects capturing and may be used to replace natural habitat of wasps and to reduce their hazardous effect at bee families. The method of wasps capture includes preparation of a bait, its placement in the trap and installation of traps in area of their habitation. The capture is carried out for 3-7 days. At the entrance to the trap, wasps are separated from other insects by means of calibration holes. When finer insects get inside the trap, their exit is provided with the help of calibration holes in the wall of the trap body. Calibration holes have a diameter of 4.0…4.5 mm to separate wasps at the entrance to the trap and a diameter of 3.0…3.8 mm to separate finer insects.
EFFECT: invention ensures possibility to capture wasps without their destruction.
