SUBSTANCE: invention refers to light industry, in particular, to knitwear manufacture. The concept of the proposed invention is as follows: the transformable clothing article consists of two interconnected identical parts and a tightening strings. The parts are connected so that to remain separable and are designed to be rectangular knitted fabric pieces sized at least 18-36 cm each, the structure being Rib 3×3, coefficient of stretch 2-2.3. Arranged along the longer rectangle sides are parts of separable zip fasteners with a string inserted in the fabric loop structure holes along the shorter side of each rectangle positioned at the zip fastener end.

EFFECT: method enables design of a transformable clothing article with extended functionalities and a greater degree of adhesion to the body parts protected.
