FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to magnetic-pulse devices intended for compaction of nano-sized powders. Proposed unit consists of power supply comprising pulsed current generator, discharger and control unit, press comprising frame to accommodate flat inductor, electrically conducting plate, springs to send said plate back into initial position after compaction, degassing units, moulds, loading zones, lock, push rods and transfer chambers.
EFFECT: expanded performances of compaction and higher efficiency.
