FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in vacuum pump 1 near channel 11 of air inlet to chamber 2 of pump there provided is outlet groove 21 which connects space A on the front side and space B on rear side of rotation direction of vane during return rotation of vane 6; thus, outlet of lubricating oil is allowed to space B on rear side from space A on the front side. Outlet groove 21 is provided in side plate 4. Surface 21A of wall of outlet groove 21, which becomes the rear side of rotation direction of vane 6 during reverse rotation of vane 6, becomes inclined surface the opening side of which is wider than bottom 21B of outlet groove 21. Other surface 21C of wall of outlet groove 21 is also preferably made in the form of inclined surface the opening side of which is wider than the bottom.
EFFECT: development of vacuum vane-type pump having the possibility of effective removal of foreign substances and friction powders from outlet groove during reverse rotation of vane and prevention of keeping of large amount of foreign substances and friction powders in outlet groove.
