FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge supply mechanism includes base of receiver with receiving opening, bolt carrier assembly with cartridge extractor, spring-loaded supply lever and supply ridge. There is a groove on one of walls of receiving opening, in which spring-loaded gate installed on the axis is made in the form of lever with two flanges. The first flange interacts with extractor and provides the possibility of preventing the turn of gate in certain section of travel of bolt carrier assembly. The second flange is made so that it partially closes the receiving opening with possibility of retaining the cartridge against being lowered downwards.
EFFECT: possibility of using cartridges both with flange and with groove on case at double-stage supply scheme of cartridges with band feed.
