FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: unit to connect tubes comprises cast-in and connecting elements equipped with holes for fastening elements. The unit is formed with bearing elements of frame structures combined to each other by means of joint plates using a prefabricated cast-in insert. The insert ensures fixation of joint plates on walls of connected tubes with the help of friction bolt joints without access to their nuts. Nuts are fixed in the prefabricated cast-in insert and are installed in it with the possibility of pressing to inner walls of a tube using washers and a friction pad installed in the insert. The insert is installed in each of joined tubes. The insert is equipped with a wooden bar with through transverse holes and expanded holes at the opposite sides of the bar, where nuts are coaxially fixed, and washers are installed. Washers are closed on the bar with friction pads, in which there are holes for bolts arranged coaxially to holes in the bar.

EFFECT: reduced labour expenditures in manufacturing and assembly and increased bearing capacity of a unit.
