SUBSTANCE: refrigerating unit comprises a heat-insulating body, inside which there is at least one storage chamber, where cold air is supplied with the help of a fan, and an evaporating chamber that serves to locate an evaporator. The evaporating chamber is thermally separated from the storage chamber with a separating plate. The refrigerating unit also comprises an electronic system of the refrigerating unit control and at least one source of light to illuminate the storage chamber. The evaporator, the separating plate and the electronic control system or the evaporator, the separating plate and the source of light are arranged in the form of a module.

EFFECT: development of a refrigerating unit characterised by reliability in operation, efficiency in manufacturing and simplicity in maintenance.
