SUBSTANCE: device has an image source, a mirror which receives light from the image source, and a concave aspherical mirror which direct light onto the windscreen. The mirror which receives light from the image source is convex aspherical. A concave aspherical mirror can also be placed between the mirror which receives light from the image source and the mirror which directs light onto the windscreen.
EFFECT: correction of distortions, improved correction of curvature and astigmatism of the formed image in a wide field of vision.
