FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: automatic optimisation method of combustion process in furnace of drum steam boiler having furnace waterwalls by measuring the parameters characterising the boiler efficiency and fuel-air ratio respectively, by determining deviations of measured signals from their specified values and further change by means of adjustment regulator of air flow rate as per sum of those deviations differs by the fact that as the parameters characterising the boiler efficiency and fuel-air ratio there used is current heat flow supplied from burner to circulation circuit of drum boiler; current heat flow supplied to boiler furnace with fuel; correlation measurement of time shift of the above heat flows; synchronised ratio of the above heat flows, and correlation of the above ratio with air flow is determined, as per which optimising control is performed.

EFFECT: higher optimisation accuracy of combustion process in furnace of drum steam boiler operating in variable conditions typical for boilers in which secondary power resources of processes are utilised, and higher boiler efficiency.
