FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: installation for material friction test consists of base, of sample gripper mounted on base, of inertia load connected with gripper, of rotation drive connected to inertia load by means of bush, of claw for counter-sample and of mechanism of loading connected with claw of counter-sample. The mechanism of loading corresponds to a rotating platform connected with the claw of counter-sample, a load mounted on the platform and a drive of platform lifting and dumping. Also, the drive of platform lifting and dumping is electro-magnetic. The platform is equipped with a rotation angle sensor; and the inertia load has a rotation angle sensor. A device in form of friction bearing facilitating reduced friction is installed between the platform and the drive for platform lifting and damping.
EFFECT: testing at transfer of rotation energy due to friction between samples.
