SUBSTANCE: device for instant switching of the calendar of mechanical clocks with a day wheel has an indicator element in form of an indicator ring with teeth on the inner or outer rim, apparatus for moving the indicator element in form of an indicator wheel which is engaged with teeth on the rim of the indicator ring, apparatus for accumulation of switching energy in form of a helix attached to the day wheel, which reads the finger of the switch lever and springs for the switch lever, as well as switching apparatus in form of a switch for the indicator wheel and placed on the axis of the switch lever with a spring for the switch lever, which reads the finger of the switch lever and the switching element.
EFFECT: simple design of the device, high accuracy and reliability of the device, suitability for installation in any analogue clocks with possibility of adjusting rate of switching, large switching angle, and with possibility of making an indicator calendar element in form of a ring without axial fastening.
