FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to a tobacco smoke filtering element, a filter containing such element and smoking products containing such filter and(or) filtering element. The filtering element has a longitudinally elongated core and a wrapper enclosing the core. The core contains a filtering material while the wrapper contains a dispersed material adherent to two or more areas of the wrapper that are arranged circumferentially with intervals relative each other with at least one of them stretching along the whole of the wrapper longitudinal length. The dispersed material contains one or more sorbents capable to absorb smoke vapour phase components.
EFFECT: reduced content of smoke vapour phase components.
