SUBSTANCE: engobe contains the following components, wt %: light baked clay 53.0-57.0; quartz sand 16.0-18.0; glass breakage 26.0-28.0; chalk 0.5-1.0. Engobe moisture is 23 - 65 %. Surface of engobed items is even, smooth, without bulging.
EFFECT: improved quality of engobed surface of ceramic items.
