SUBSTANCE: Bifidobacterium bifidum DVA-12 strain is recovered from bowels of a healthy adult and deposited in the State collection of microorganisms of the normal flora (SCNF) of Federal State Research Institution Gabrichevskiy Moscow Research Institution of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights and Human Welfare, No. 224. The strain actively propagates in various nutrient mediums with accumulating a high bifidus bacteria process biomass.
EFFECT: Bifidobacterium bifidum DVA-12 strain exhibits acid-forming activity, pathogen and opportunistic pathogen antagonist activity, ferments milk that enables to use it for preparing bifidus products.
