SUBSTANCE: phase direction finder which realises the disclosed phase direction finding method has receiving antennae, three receivers, a reference generator, a pulse generator, an electronic switch, two 90° phase changers, three phase detectors, an indicator, a heterodyne, a mixer, an intermediate frequency amplifier, three multipliers, three band-pass filters, a delay line, two squaring devices, a scaling multiplier and a subtractor, connected to each other in certain way.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the method and device through accurate and unambiguous determination of the elevation angle of a signal source onboard aircraft.
