FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cutting tool comprises boring bar with body accommodating cutting inserts with cutting plates radial facing and boring. Said body is provided with lubricant-coolant feed orifices. Note here that said inserts may be detached and locked. Proposed tool incorporates cutting plate for grooving. Boring bar body represents cylindrical rod with its one end supporting flange for attachment to machine tool and its opposite end cylindrical surface provided with seats for cutting inserts intended for boring machined article. Note also that radial facing insert is arranged between two boring inserts, while grooving plate is arranged to move and be locked in slot of diametrically opposite third boring insert.
EFFECT: expanded performances.
