FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of extraction pillars and attachment of conveyor and ventilation openings so that coal pillar remains between openings of developed extraction pillar and subject to mining. Ventilation opening of extraction pillar subject to mining is performed together with coal extraction in the developed pillar with advance of its mining face by not less than the length of the support pressure zone of that mining face. Additional attachment is made behind the mining face of the extraction pillar, at some distance from the latter, which corresponds to the length of section of increased stresses of that opening in affected zone of the worked-out area of extraction pillar within the limits of which the increased rock jointing zone is formed in peripheral massif. After ventilation opening is performed through the length corresponding to the length of section of increased stresses, boundary of increased rock jointing zone is determined again and attachment cycle is repeated again.
EFFECT: increasing stability of rocks in roof of ventilation opening, improving the conditions of its support and maintaining its working condition during the whole service life.
