FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: one-cutter drilling bit includes housing, eccentric shaft with flushing ports, which is installed in housing on radial thrust bearings, and cutter with working surface formed with cutter picks with calibrating inserts. On one end of housing there is attachment point to housing of downhole motor, on the other end there is fixed gear wheel interacting with gear wheel of drilling bit; attachment point is made on end of eccentric shaft to shaft of downhole motor. Cuff is located at location point of gear system on outer surfaces of housing and cutter.

EFFECT: increasing operating efficiency of one-cutter drilling bit owing to using gear system and bringing the cutter into complex planetary motion.
