FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology to make non-smoking nicotine-containing products from low-grade tobacco, such as a water naswar. The method includes preparation of formula components, extraction of cloves with liquid carbon dioxide to separate the appropriate miscella, cutting of low-grade tobacco and dandelion root, their drying in the microwave field to residual moisture of around 20% at capacity of the microwave field that provides raw materials heating inside the pieces up to 80-90°C, for at least 1 hour, their mixing, impregnation with separated miscella with extract content in the amount of 0.03% from the mixture weight with simultaneous pressure rise, pressure release down to atmospheric value with simultaneous freezing of the mixture. Then the carbon dioxide is sublimated and removed with simultaneous swelling of the mixture, grape juice concentrate, sugar syrup, calcium and/or magnesium citrate and water are added, and the produced mixture is shaped.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to produce a new non-smoking nicotine-containing product, having improved organoleptic properties and extended shelf life, with reduced losses of aromatic substances and nicotine in raw feedstock.
