FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for production of non-smoking nicotine-containing products like water naswar. The method provides for preparation of formula components, extraction of cloves with liquid carbon dioxide to separate appropriate miscella, cutting of rustic tobacco and soapwort roots, their drying in microwave field at specified parameters of process, their mixing, impregnation with separated miscella with simultaneous increase of pressure. One performs depressurisation to atmospheric value with simultaneous freezing of the mixture, subliming and removal of carbon dioxide with simultaneous swelling of the mixture. One adds mango juice concentrate, sugar syrup, calcium and/or magnesium citrate and water to the produced mixture; then one performs moulding the end product of the mixture.
EFFECT: method allows to produce a non-smoking nicotine-containing rustic tobacco product with improved organoleptic properties and extended storage life combined with decreasing losses of flavouring substances and initial raw material nicotine.
