FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: modular rack consists of at least one module, comprising at least one cell formed by the main and additional elements in the form of vertical elements, transverse elements, stands, braces, brackets and at least one pair of guide elements fixed rigidly to each other; assembled in the place equipped for this purpose; delivered to the installation site in the assembled form; joined at the installation site and fixed rigidly at the side of at least one its face with the other at least one module of similar or other purpose; designed for storage on guide elements or movement along them, or simultaneous storage and movement of at least one pallet, container or trolley with a stored object or without it on them. The guide elements are made in the form of two elements, each with one bearing shelf or one with two bearing shelves, where the lower shelf is necessary to move trolleys, and the upper one - to hold pallets with stored objects; which makes it possible to increase number of storage places and levels, if required, to join and rigidly fixed another additional at least one module to its one face with similar or other purpose; provides for reinforcement of its structure, preferably arranged on lower levels, with fixation of other additional elements or replacement of the ones available for stronger ones; makes it possible to fix elements of engineering systems on them; may be installed onto available permanent structures.

EFFECT: reduced cost and time of rack erection and possibility to add levels in process of operation.
