FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: optical function calculator based on the modulus of a number, having a pulsed radiation source, an optical k×n-output splitter, a k×n matrix transparency filter, an optical m-input coupler (m is proportional to the modulus of the number), a pair of optically connected waveguides, also includes k groups of m optical fibre parallel-to-series converters, (k-1) optical m-input couplers, (k-1) pairs of optically connected waveguides and k photodetectors.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of the computer.
