FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to feeding farm animals and may be used in feed mill industry and at farms. The feed additive includes diacetophenonylselenide and bentonite at a ratio of 8 g -13 g of bentonite per 1 mg - 3 mg of diacetophenonylselenide; therewith one uses bentonite of the Tarn-Varskoye deposit in the Republic of Tatarstan. The invention usage allows to activate protein, carbohydrate, mineral and vitamin metabolism, increase the total quantity of protein and glucose in blood, enhance natural resistibility of the organism due to intensification of phagocytic activity of leucocytes.
EFFECT: additive feeding promotes for activation of animal reproductive function, ensures live-weight gain with animals, beasts and birds as well as liveability of livestock.
