FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: ram jet is related to the transport machine building industry and is designed for application in aviation equipment. The ram jet consists of an air intake, a combustion chamber equipped with a start-up nozzle with a spark plug, and an extension pipe with a nozzle attachment. A force injector is mounted into the wall of the combustion chamber, which is adjacent to the air intake. The inlet nozzle of the force injector is connected to the inner cavity of high pressure of the combustion chamber equipped with a diaphragm made of a fan of tabs twisted along the spiral. In the air intake, in the zone of air speed flow, there is a fuel injector connected to the fuel tank by means of a pipeline.
EFFECT: improved reliability in operation, durability and simplification of design.
